Many also have medicinal properties. From dandelion, mallow and wild radish to acorns and violets, there is a feast of food all around us! Learn where to find these foods, how to identify them and how to prepare them in the kitchen.

Edible Weed author, Doris Pozzi

Your guide

Doris Pozzi is a keen food gardener and a graduate of the Permaculture Design Course. She grew up in an Italian household where food foraging was a family activity alongside vegetable and fruit gardening.

She is the author of ‘Edible Weeds and Garden Plants of Melbourne’.

Doris is a speaker on the topic of edible weeds and runs edible weeds walks in the Yarra Valley.

Doris is an enthusiast and entertaining speaker who inspires people to see the plants all around them in a new way.

In addition to the Edible Weed Walks, Talks and Workshops she runs herself, Doris can be booked to run an Edible Weed Walk for your organisation, or at your own property.
